Our trauma survivor program, while primarily focusing on youth, also assists women who have been survivors of trafficking, assault, and abuse. Using formally wild mustangs, we discuss consent and focus on liberty work. This allows the horse to choose if the horse wants to participate in the session or not. Much like the consent that was revoked within their trauma, this is a key part of our program and healing for our participants.
